Dr. Tina Conway

Dr. Tina Conway is a board-certified veterinary internal medicine specialist in Gaithersburg. She manages the radio-iodine program at VRA, used to treat hyperthyroidism in cats.

Tina Conway, DVM, MA, DACVIM (SAIM)

Dr. Tina Conway has been an integral part of our internal medicine department since 2001. She received her DVM at Michigan State University in 1995. From there, Dr. Conway went on to complete an internship in Medicine and Surgery at The Animal Medical Center, NYC in 1996 and a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Michigan State University in 1999.

She became board certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 1999 and joined Veterinary Referral Associates’ Internal Medicine Department in 2001. Since 2014, Dr. Conway has overseen the radioactive-iodine (i131) program at Veterinary Referral Associates, for the treatment of hyperthyroidism in cats.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Conway enjoys reading, drinking tea and riding her road bike around the DMV and beyond. Her family includes 2 dogs, 3 cats and 3 humans.
