Trevor Williams, DVM, MS, DACVECC
Dr. Trevor Williams was born in New Jersey and moved to southeastern Connecticut when he was 12 years old. He obtained an undergraduate degree in biology from Virginia Tech followed by a master’s degree in molecular virology at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. After working in the pharmaceutical industry for one year he returned to the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine for veterinary school, graduating in 2006.
Dr. Williams returned to Connecticut and completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT. After that time, Dr. Williams worked as an emergency clinician for referral hospitals in New Hampshire and Rhode Island. In July 2011, he joined the VRA as a resident in emergency and critical care
Dr. Williams’s professional interests include pain management, trauma, sepsis, and pulmonary disease in critical care.
