Dr. Danielle Brown grew up in Howard County, Maryland. She has always had a love for animals, so her youthful desire to become a veterinarian seemed a natural choice. She persevered and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Maryland, College Park and subsequently, her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated valedictorian of her class.
Dr. Brown practiced small animal medicine and surgery as a general practitioner in Glenwood, MD for a year after graduating from vet school. Several years ago, she developed a special interest in veterinary cardiology and has decided to pursue this career path.
In her free time, Dr. Brown enjoys being with her family and friends including her two love-bug cats, Alice and Meeko. Additionally, Danielle stays fit playing soccer; takes pleasure from traveling to new places and relaxes by watching Disney movies.
